    Not only will smaller meals keep your metabolism up, but it will also help you avoid consuming larger portions. Try to incorporate lean protein in each of these small meals to maximize results. Many doctors recommend that you consume smaller meals at least 4-6 times a day instead of 1 or 2 large meals. This will help you curb your appetite and eat fewer calories.
